Amandeep Beesla, NCSO
2017 marks a milestone year for BCCSA. The Association embarked on a mission to have a common construction safety designation across the provinces and has worked closely with the Alberta Construction Safety Association, and provincial partners through the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations (CFCSA), to sign an NCSOTM memorandum. This session will review the journey to a National Construction Safety Officer designation, and include information on the requirements for attaining an NCSOTM.
Amandeep Beesla is the BCCSA’s new NCSO coordinator. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her, having worked over 20 years in heavy industrial construction, civil earthworks, pipeline, mining, and oil and gas industry. Beesla has her NCSO designation in both Alberta and BC and CSS designation in BC, as well as an OHS and NEBOSH accreditation. She is an active member of the CSSE and is currently working towards her CRSP. Beesla’s role at the Alliance involves answering inquiries, reviewing applications, verifying experience, validating proficiencies, invigilating exams, and quality assurance.
